How to make leather boots fit me better?

i just bought a new pair of steve madden leather boots (i%26#039;m not sure if they are real leather because it says that it is man made material) and they go up to almost my knees. They fit my feet fine but they are kinda wrinkled near my ankles and calves, they are also kinda loose where as i think they should fit snug..i%26#039;m asian so i%26#039;m kinda petite and i think thats why they dont fit around my legs right. is there anything i can do to get rid of the crease and wrinkles and also is there a way to shrink it to make it fit my legs better? i reallly loved these boots and i want them to fit right. thanks! =)

same problem here and I hate it. I%26#039;m tall though. Either you should look for boots that are stretch synthetic or leather boots with a zipper. Also you just have to try on a lot of boots to find the ones that fit right and I mean a lot. I found some jessica simpson boots and steve madden boots that fit me perfectly.

The other way is to take them to a shoe smith. I%26#039;m about to take my whiskey coach boots to one so he can put in a zipper and make them fitted around the ankle. Saggy ankles are not sexy.
Reply:i have also heard that boots will fit when wet - it just depends on if the material is safe to get wet. my brother uses this technique on his leather work boots. he puts them on and walks around in the tub with them on. im just not so sure about your type of boot tho. if u do try it, made sure u treat it with something (like a leather cream) to keep it protected an moist so it doesnt crack. good luck!
Reply:not sure i%26#039;d try it myself but i know leather shrinks when wet so if it isn%26#039;t a suede type of thing i%26#039;d wet them and wear them until dry. that way they shape to your legs perfectly.... see what others say about this...
